We have the

power to end

hunger in Kansas

Kansas feeds the world, so why are one in ten of our own people going hungry?

Kansas Appleseed works to answer that question everyday. Too often, Kansans can’t make ends meet. With 1 in 10 Kansans struggling to put food on the table, more must be done to ensure our communities can thrive.

At Kansas Appleseed, we work to eliminate the root causes of hunger by advocating for policy changes that ensure equitable access to food for all Kansans. We work to dismantle systemic barriers that contribute to food insecurity through policy solutions that ensure more Kansans can succeed.

We create change to end hunger in Kansas by ensuring all Kansas kids have what they need to thrive. We support Child Nutrition Programs and promote the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to help more Kansans put food on the table for themselves and their families.

Hunger is a Policy Choice

50%
